ORLY Fowl Play Swatch and Review

     Today I have the second polish from my SBS haul to show you guys, ORLY Fowl Play. This is a thick jelly glitter polish. Fowl Play is a deep grape-y purple with blue micro glitter and pink flakie glitter in it.

     All shots are with three coats of polish and a top coat. Over all I liked this polish. The color is nice and the flakie glitter is gorgeous. The best color representation is in the outside in the shade picture. My only complaint is that it's a very thick formula and can get a little gloppy at times and can be a bit tricky to apply. It has fall written all over it. It's dark yet sparkly which I love and will be wearing a lot this fall. Well that's all I have for you today so until next time stay classy, and stay polished.

ORLY Ingenue Swatch and Review

      The first swatch from my Orly SBS birthday coupon haul. Today I have Ingenue for you. I have to say before I show you the bottle shots and the swatches that I have always had a love hate relationship with ORLY polish. They have great colors they just don't last very long and/or are a beast to take off. This polish has been on my fingers for 4 days now and it only has some wear and tear from rubbing and the like no chips. I am pretty sure I am in polish love. It doesn't hurt that this polish is almost a trio chrome that goes from a pinkish purple, to pink, to gold. it's amazing. But enough of my blathering on I bet you want to see the polish right? Okay, that is what we are here for after all.

     All pictures are with two coats of Ingenue and a top coat. It's a great formula that applies easily and wears like a dream. The best color representation is in the inside with flash photo. It's such a pretty color that I think I will be wearing this one a lot this up coming holiday season. It kind of reminds me of sugar plum faeries and yummy Christmas treats.

Sally Beauty Supply Birthday Coupon Haul

   As you may or may not know my birthday is coming up (in less than 2 weeks) and I had a Birthday coupon from Sally Beauty Supply (SBS) for $10 off a $20 purchase. So I decided to buy some nail polish as an early birthday present to myself. Which lets face it those are the best kind of presents. Nail polish that you have been lusting after for a while and that you have a coupon to make them much less expensive. I was so excited when I went into my local SBS that they not only had the second installment of Orly's Flash Glam Collection. I also noticed that they had changed around the nail polish placement and selection. A polish I have wanted for awhile is apparently part of the ORLY core line up now. Insert me doing a happy dance here. So naturally I bought it on the spot. It's also worth mentioning that ORLY polish is two for $12 at the moment (excluding Flash Glam). How awesome is that?      Do you see a theme? Glittery!!!! Yep, they are all sublimely glittery and all but one are dark. My two favorite things in the entire nail polish world are dark and glittery nail polish. I think that's why I love fall/winter nail polish so much. It's always either dark or glittery and sometimes it's a wonderful collaboration of both and I am in nail polish heaven. As I wear  them I will post some swatches for you guys so you can see how awesome these babies are for yourself. So stay tuned. But for now that's all I have to share with you guys.
