Sally Girl Butta

     Today, I have a swatch of Sally Girl Butta (yeah the name is kinda dumb) to share with you guys. Butta is a graphite-ish metallic grey polish with small silver glitter and medium size teal glitter in it. This is another one of those polishes where you're going to be all "Why doesn't this come in a bigger bottle?" It's seriously that pretty. So without further ado. Here is Butta:

     I used three coats of Butta for the pictures above (no undies), two light coats and a heavy coat, then topped it with a heavy layer of top coat. As with most glitter heavy polishes this one eats topcoat alive so go pretty heavy handed with it. The formula is a tad on the sheer side, but it dries quickly and applies easily. Over all I really like this polish. I just wish it came in a bigger bottle. But for 99₵ at Sally Beauty Supply, can I really complain? I can but I won't. I will definitely be picking up a few more of this itty-bitty bottle of glittery Valkyrie trance inducing goodness. It's dark, it's sparkly, and can I just tell you I love the dark base bright blue glitter combo. Anyway, that's all I have for you today. Until Next time, stay classy, and stay polished.

Sally Girl Brainy

     Today, I have a swatch of Sally Girl Brainy to show you guys. Brainy is a pale pearlescent blue, with small teal glitter and medium teal hexagonal glitter. It actually reminds be a bit of Deborah Lippmann's Mermaid' Dream which I don't own it (see swatches by Berry Polished here)...yet. But from the pictures I've seen it's pretty close. Here's Brainy.

     I used four coats of Brainy and a layer of top coat. It dried fairly quickly but was a pretty thin formula. Over all I really like it. And for me it looks close enough to D.L.'s Mermaid's Dream. When I acquire Mermaid's Dream you can bet I will be posting a comparison though. I do have a birthday coming up (insert evil grin here). And the Nail Polish Fairy tends to bring me some nail polish for my special day. A girl can hope...right? Anyway, that's all I have for you guys today. Winter Wonderland Manicure

      Today, I have a Winter Wonderland manicure to show you guys. It's kind of Christmas(ish) and definitely wintery. Those of you who know me, know that I struggle with December, more specifically Christmas (and if you know me then you know why), so this is me trying to get into the spirit via a Christmas theme mani. I'm sending out some positive energy (a wish if you will) for some Christmas snow. Do you hear me Idaho? I want a white Christmas so straighten up and fly right. Anyway here's the manicure I hope you like it.
