Finger Paints Vivid Reflection

Today, I have Vivid Reflection from Finger Paints Kaleidoscope collection to show you guys. Vivid Reflection is a pink, peach, orange flakie topper (clear base). This is the third polish from the Kaleidoscope collection that I have swatched and quite possibly my favorite one so far. I'm not normally a big pink kinda woman (unless you are talking about the singer, then I love P!nk), but this polish is so pretty I just love it. I can't help myself. I could blather on about this polish all day or I could just show it to you. So here it is:

In this picture I used two coats of Finger Paints Black Expressionism (as undies), two coats of Vivid Reflection, and a layer of top coat. This polish was a slower drying polish like the others in the set that I've swatched but it's also worth the wait. The sparkle pay off is huge on this one. I just can't stop looking at it. Let my Valkyrie sister be warned that this polish may trance you. I hope you guys like this polish as much as I do (which is a lot). Three polishes swatched from Kaleidoscope two to go. Stay tuned. Until next time, stay classy and stay polished.
XOXO

Finger Paints Psychedelic Hue

Today, I have Psychedelic Hue from Finger Paints Kaleidoscope collection to show you guys. Psychedelic Hue is a teal to green flakie topper in a clear base. For this picture I used China Glaze Liquid Leather as a undies. This is swatch number two from the Kaleidoscope collection. Here is Psychedelic Hue:

In these pictures I used two coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather, two coats of Psychedelic Hue, and a later of top coat. This polish is a tad slow to dry, faster that the older flakies by Finger Paints but still on the slow side. That said this polish is so worth to time it takes to dry. I freaking love it. Such a pretty polish. I'll be posting the rest of the collection soon so stay tuned. Until next time, stay classy, and stay polished.

Finger Paints Abstract Abstraction

First of all I want to apologize for the lack of posting...but it's been a week. I ended up going to the doctor twice this week on account of getting hurt at work. One Baro trauma to the left ear, one tetanus shot, one laceration, and a dislocated finger later I'm attempting to type this for you with a splint on my finger. Anyway, today I have Abstract Abstraction from Finger Paints to show you guys. Abstract Abstraction is one of Finger Paints new flakie polishes. It's a blue, green, and purple flake polish. I used China Glaze Liquid Leather as Undies on this one.

On this manicure I used two coats of Liquid Leather and two coats of Abstract Abstraction with a heavy coat of topcoat over everything. This polish applies easily and is a slower drying polish. That said I really think it dries faster than the previous flakies released by Finger Paints. They wore really well (I wash my hands a lot because I work with kids) and It barely even chipped. I took if off because I just wanted a different color not because it was chipped as I usually do. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this swatch, and I will be posting swatched or the polishes from the rest of this set soon, so stay tuned. That's all I have for you today. Until next time, stay classy, and stay polished.

China Glaze Sand Dolla Make You Holla

Today, I have a swatch of Sand Dolla Make You Holla (SDMYH) from China Glaze's Sea Goddess collection. SDMYH is a pale (read this as uber pale) pink texture polish with silver, medium pink, and blue glitter in it. But free warning I have nubs again. And usually I would hide the nubs and photo the right hand for a while but my right index finger was broken at work when I kept a client from running into a busy street...So short nails are a badge of honor for me right now (until they grow out) since my index nails untimely demise meant saving someone from calamity. Anyway here's my nubs SDMYH.

I used three coats of SDMYH for these pictures and for the top coat pictures I used two heavy layers of Seche Vite. The formula is kind of thin (hence the three coats) and the texture is less bumpy that other textures I've tried, but it dries fairly quickly. I think I actually prefer this polish with topcoat, though. I'm kind of over the whole texture thing. That said with all the top coat it just looks like a girly creme with glitter and I got tons of compliments on it. I think it would have been better sans texture but that could be just me. Any way that's all I have for you guys today. Until next time. Stay classy, and stay polished.

China Glaze Be Merry Be Bright

Today, I have Be Merry Be Bright (BMBB) from China Glaze's Happy Holiglaze collection. BMBB is a pink and purple glitter mix in a clear base. I saved this one for closer to Valentines day because it really seems more V-day than Christmas IMO. Anyway, I used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons as Undies on this one.

For these pictures I used one coat of BMBB over two coats of Don't Pretzel My Buttons. The glitter pay off is pretty huge on this one. I really ended up liking it a lot. Very girly, very Valentines (at least to me). Also your inner Valkyrie will be in a trance from all the sparklyness. Application was really easy I didn't have to dab it on or anything, I just applied it like a normal polish. It also dries pretty quickly so that's pretty awesome too. Anyway that's all I have for you today. Until next time, stay classy and stay polished.

Orly Starburst

Today, I have Starburst by Orly to show you guys. Starburst is a white jelly polish with orange, gold, red, and silver glitter in it. For the following picture I used one coat of China Glaze White On White as Underwear.

In these pictures I used three coats of Starburst over one coat of white on white. Alone Starburst was to flat for my taste so I added undies to make the glitter pop. The formula applies easily and dries fast. It also has a really nice glitter payoff. It also wore really well with only minor chipping. A must for glitter fans. I actually really like how much this polish looks like an Indie polish but easier to get a hold of. Anyway that's all I have for you today. Until next time stay classy and stay polished.

January Stash Additions

Today, I have my traditional end of the month post...it's just a day late. Anyway, here are all the pretty polishes and nail paraphernalia that I added to my stash in January.

Amazon:

OPI - Pure

Some tip guides.

OPI - 4 In The Morning

Sally Beauty Supply:

Orly - Starburst, China Glaze - Sand Dolla Make You Holla, China Glaze -Teal The Tide Turns, and Orly - Black Hole

Finger Paints - Abstract Abstraction, Vivid Reflection, Colorful Dream, Symmetrical Symphony, and Psychedelic Hue

California Mango Cuticle Oil.

As you can see I was kind of naughty...and I did splurge on all the Finger Paints flakies. But seriously, I still regret not picking up a bottle of Twisted when they released the last flakies and I wasn't about to do that to myself again. So I got them all. I also splurged on the OPI Pure, because they finally made a gold top coat I can wear (stupid metal allergy). Plus I got a new job and it was a celebratory nail polish. I deserve it, my job can be hard (yet incredible, awesome, amazing, and inspirational). Anyway, did you guys get any new and awesome polish lately? If so what did you get? Tell me below. That's all I have for you today. Until  next time stay classy and stay polished.
XOXO
