NailPolishCanada.com's Week 3 - Holiday Decorations

Today, I have a manicure that I entered in week 3 of NailpolishCanada.com's Holiday Nail art challenge. I missed week one because my my carpel tunnel was acting up and I could barely open a bottle of nail polish much less do any nail art. Anyway this weeks theme is Holiday Decorations. And when I think of holiday decorations I think of Christmas Trees and all the regalia that goes with them. So, here is my Christmas Tree manicure. Oh, and you can go vote for me here. You can vote for me until December 12. So please do so. Without any further ado here's my Gift mani.

Indoor with Flash.

What I used:

China Glaze - Glittering Garland
Sally Hansen - White On
Americana - True Red
Americana - Mustard Seed
Americana - White Wash
Ceramcoat - Platinum
Ceramcoat - Black
1mm silver gemstones

And a Christmas song...Cuz well it is a Christmas manicure. It's a ridiculous song  (but I'm kind of ridiculous so whatever) but I kinda like it. It feels like Christmas from the Muppet Christmas Carol. Enjoy.

Well there you have it my Christmas Tree mani. What do you guys think? I am very pleased with it. Please don't forget to hop on over to Nailpolishcanada.com's website and vote for my manicure. Well that's all I have for you today. Until next time, stay classy and stay polished.

My favorite color mixed with glitter? Come on that's a match made in heaven. I an just going to say one more thing about this polish. Go, buy it now, it's amazing. China Glaze Champagne Kisses Swatch And Review

Today, I have Champagne Kisses from China Glaze's Holiday Joy collection to show you guys. Champagne Kisses is a light peachy, copper holographic micro glitter in a clear base. Let me just start by saying that I originally did not want this polish. "I thought ugh! A copper polish?" But then I got it with a gift card and tried it, first on my toes then on my fingers and fell madly in love with it. On the nail it's a gorgeous warm peach glitter and even though I am pale as a ghost it looks good on even my pale self. Anyway here's what you are waiting for...the pictures.

The bottle:

Outdoor in shade.

Outdoor in sunlight(ish). It's pretty cloudy out.

Close up:

All pictures are with 3 coats of Champagne Kisses and two layers of top coat. This glitter polish like the others in the Holiday Joy line are top coat eaters so be prepared to go heavy on the top coat. That said it dries fast and has the warmest shimmery glitter to it that I fell madly, deeply in love with. I am so glad I added this polish to my collection. It's beautiful and glittery and for some reason unbeknownst to me reminds me of sugar cookies...maybe it's just because it's that time of year again and I am fiending for some home made sugar cookies. At any rate I hope you guys enjoy this polish as much as I do. Until next time stay classy and stay polished.
