China Glaze Riveting Swatch And Review

     Today I have another swatch from my Amazon haul for you guys. I am going to show you China Glaze Riveting from the Hunger Games collection. This is going to be a picture heavy post because I am going to show you both with a glossy topcoat and with a matte top coat. Why? Because this polish is stunning matte you have to see it! So I figured I would post all the swatchy goodness together in one post. For your viewing enjoyment.

     In these pictures I used two coats of Riveting and one coat of top coat. The formula applies easily and dries quickly. I have to say I am in love. I am not normally a big fan of orange nail polish and put off buying this color but after wearing it I am kind of mad at myself for not buying it sooner. It's so very pretty both in glossy and it's breath taking in matte. What do you guys think? Are you loving the orange as much as I am? Well that's all I have for you today. China Glaze Atlantis Swatch and Review

   Hi guys. Today I have a swatch from my Amazon haul for you. In this post I'll be showing you China Glaze Atlantis. This polish was a long time lemming for me. In fact it was the first polish from China Glaze that I lusted after and ton of China Glaze polishes later she is all mine. My inner Valkyrie is dancing around in circles and drooling I assure you. Atlantis is a dark teal jelly polish with holographic glitter in it.

     All pictures used two coats of Atlantis with no underwear (nothing underneath except base coat), and a top coat. Over all this polish is amazing and I absolutely love it. The best color representation in the indoor no flash picture. Also if you happened to notice that my nails got shorter between the indoor and out door picture you are correct I had catastrophic nail failure on my ring finger and filed my other nails down (because I hate uneven nails)...also good eye. This polishes only draw back is that it's very textured because of the large amount of glitter in it, but an extra coat of top coat will even it out if you don't like the texture (which feels a bit like sand on your nails). I don't happen to mind the texture...plus the glittery goodness is more than enough for me to over look the texture. I am so glad I got this before it disappeared (or went so high in price that it's cost prohibitive of being added to my collection). Honestly I am kind of mad I waited this long to get it...it's that lovely. Well that's all I have for you today. Until next time, stay classy and stay polished.

China Glaze Make A Spectacle and Snow Globe Comparison.

     If you are like me you hesitated to buy Make A Spectacle (MAS) because in the bottle it looks (in the bottle) almost exactly like China Glaze Snow Globe (SG) from last years Christmas collection. When I saw the bottle I thought "Dang it China Glaze stop reusing colors" (Only a more colorful language that's best not used on my blog). But I decided I would buy it anyway since my SG is about half empty and to my surprise and pleasure found out that they are nothing a like. Not even a tiny bit.

     So you can see that MAS a hexagonal mixed with micro-falkie glitter that shows green, gold and orange, while SG is a multi-sized hexagonal glitter that shows blue, pink, teal, and silver. Bottom line they are nothing alike. MAS says fall (the colors remind me of fall leaves) and SG says winter (colors remind me of icicles and snow flakes). It's so weird that they look so similar in the bottle and so drastically different on the nail. You can't make a bad choice with either polish and having both is divine. Also please forgive the note card swatches...I need to buy a nail wheel but forget to every time I go to the store. That's all I have today so until next time. Stay classy and stay polished.
